Be There for the First Discoveries.

That first pack. A familiar face on a brand-new card. A combination you can’t wait to try.

Prerelease is your chance to experience the set alongside other players discovering it for the first time. Bring your usual crew or come meet someone new across the table.

Whether you’re here for Magic, Star Trek, or both, there’s plenty to explore.

Here’s How Your Night Works.

Open your Prerelease Pack.

Discover the cards you’ll be playing with—and keeping after the event.

Build a 40-card deck.

Choose your cards, add basic lands, and put your game plan together. No existing collection required.

Shuffle up and play.

Try your deck against other players, find out what works, and enjoy the surprises along the way.

Do I need to bring a deck?

No. Everyone builds from their Prerelease Pack and basic lands.

Do I need to be an experienced player?

You don’t need tournament experience. Knowing Magic’s basic rules will help you enjoy the evening; you can discover the new cards as you play.

What if I’m a Star Trek fan who’s never played Magic?

We’d love to help you get started. Contact us before registering so we can point you toward an introduction to the game.

Can I come by myself?

Absolutely. You don’t need to bring an opponent.

What should I bring?

Sleeves to protect your cards and a way to track your life total are useful. Leave your constructed deck at home—you’ll be making something new.
