About the event

Thinking about joining one of our Dungeons & Dragons campaigns but not quite sure what to expect?

Whether your child has never rolled a die before or is already dreaming about dragons, wizards, and epic quests, our D&D Open House is the perfect opportunity to learn how our programs work, meet our team, and get all your questions answered. This free event is designed for both parents and players. Come discover why Dungeons & Dragons has become one of the most popular and rewarding hobbies for young people today.

What You’ll Learn

During the Open House, we’ll walk families through our upcoming youth roleplaying programs, including:

Heroes’ Guild (Ages 9–12)

A beginner-friendly five-week adventure designed specifically for younger players.

Adventurers’ Guild (Ages 13–18)

An immersive campaign experience that encourages creativity, teamwork, and storytelling for teen players.

We’ll explain:

  • How our five-week campaign format works

  • What happens during a typical session

  • How players create and develop characters

  • What new players need to know before joining

  • How we welcome beginners

  • Expectations for player behavior and table etiquette

  • How we create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment

  • What parents can expect throughout the campaign

  • How registration and scheduling will work

Why Do So Many Parents Love D&D?

Dungeons & Dragons is more than a game. Every session encourages players to practice valuable life skills while having fun with friends.

Players develop:

  • Creativity and imagination

  • Teamwork and collaboration

  • Communication skills

  • Critical thinking and problem solving

  • Confidence and self-expression

  • Leadership and decision-making

  • Reading and comprehension skills

  • Social connection and friendship

Most importantly, D&D gives young people a place to gather face-to-face, work together toward shared goals, and create memorable experiences together.

Questions Welcome

Whether you’re wondering:

  • “Is my child too shy for D&D?”

  • “What if they’ve never played before?”

  • “How much of a time commitment is this?”

  • “Do I need to buy anything?”

  • “Will my child fit in?”

We’re here to help.

No question is too small.
